Education and Experience
Tecee Winton received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Mrs. Winton attended the Center for Paralegal Studies in Houston, Texas in 2004. After obtaining a Paralegal Certificate she worked as a civil litigation paralegal until she entered law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas in 2009. In law school, Mrs. Winton participated in mock trial, the Wills and Trusts Legal Clinic, the Earl Carl Institute, and became a licensed civil mediator. As a student worker, she represented clients in probate matters and mediated various civil disputes. After graduation, she co-founded The Winton Law Firm, P.L.L.C. in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Winton has dedicated the majority of her practice of law to resolving high-conflict family disputes and assisting clients with transferring estates of deceased persons to their heirs or beneficiaries.
Personal
Tecee Winton was born and raised in rural Brownwood, Texas and moved to the Third Ward area of Houston, Texas in 1997. She is married to Jason Winton and enjoys all things country and raising her sister, Taylor Michelle.
